MAILING & FULFILLMENT High Volume Envelope Feeder The high volume Xanté TL-30 Top Load Feeder holds up to 500 envelopes and features a top-load design that eliminates delays when reloading envelopes, sheets, postcards, or other materi- als. No wiring, mechanical latching, or tray removal is nec- essary; so customers can simply roll the unit into place, add media, and run. Major features include an adjustable stand, buckle separa- Mail Finishing System Rollem International's Mailstream is a fully automated direct mail finishing system that con- verts press sheets into finished mail products. Direct mail pieces are edge trimmed, slit, scored, and perforated in both directions; "T" and "L" perfs applied for tear-out reply cards or coupons, remoistenable glue is applied, followed by folding and fugitive glue closure as the final step. It conforms to postal requirements for three sided sealing due to its ability to apply glue dot closures consecutively, eliminating the need for tabbing. These processes are completed in a single pass with delivery to mail trays in Zip Code order. The system is compatible with VDP products, inkjet or static direct mail, offset or digital printing. www.MyPrintResource.com/10007767 SA5300 PRO Inkjet Addressing & Imaging System Secap's SA5300 PRO inkjet addressing and imaging system boasts speeds of up to 30,000 pieces per hour, the system provides 600 dpi printing with graphics and spot color capability for up to three inches of print. It offers eight print quality options, from draft light to executive, and is integrated with a high capacity feeder, using friction technology. At 24 inches high with a two-knob adjustment, the vertical hopper accom- modates media types up to 0.5-inch thick. The system can be configured with the Secap T-2000 for in-line tabbing and the TCD 72 conveyor/dryer. www.MyPrintResource.com/10007881 ConceptD Inkjet Envelope Overprint Press W+D Machinery Company's ConceptD is a high-per- formance, industrial-grade digital inkjet overprint press specifically optimized for the personalized direct mail seg- ment. ConceptD uses a piezo, drop-on-demand inkjet print engine that will print continu- ous, seamless, high-quality, four-color images, virtually full face on a #10 envelope at speeds up to 500 envelopes per minute or up to 30,000 envelopes per hour—with each envelope variably imaged. ConceptD's advanced feeder and handling technology handles a multitude of envelope sizes and paper substrate grades. www.MyPrintResource.com/10313534 tion, re-positional feed belts, and a floating acceleration table for simple integration. In addition to easily integrating with Xanté's Ilumina line of digital presses, the feeder also works with other laser printers, digital presses, folders, and UV coaters. www.MyPrintResource.com/10008689 Postal IQ Bell and Howell's Postal IQ software solution is designed to handle manage- ment of the entire data stream from start to finish and back again. A modular system, Postal IQ is custom-built for every customer; it can be used to improve a single process or a com- plete operation. Postal IQ impacts and optimizes postage costs. Postage is optimized by ensuring all account information satisfies postal quality standards. In addition, multiple jobs can be digitally co- mingled providing greater savings by creating deeper densities and volumes across zip codes. By digitally co-mingling jobs, a mailer also has the opportunity to split jobs based on mail piece attributes and postage discounts achieved. If mail pieces are damaged during produc- tion, Postal IQ can update postage reports so that postage is not paid on spoiled pieces. www.MyPrintResource.com/10004157 MCS Eagle UV Inkjet Printer The MCS Eagle-UV inkjet printer features a native 600 dpi modular printhead technology in widths from 4.25 inches to 17 inches. It is designed for use as an addressing system for direct mail, or inline on a web-press, folder, or other transport for variable data, barcoding, and compact page-printing. The MCS Eagle-UV runs UV-curable ink and can inkjet on glossy coated, aqueous coated, and uncoated stocks, plastic cards, as well as polypropylene and vinyl. Running speeds vary from 333 fpm at 300x600 dpi to 167 fpm at 600x600 dpi. Each 4.25-inch printhead has a densely-packed bank of 2,550 nozzles without any stitch- lines or gaps. For address printing, this allows a mail shop to rotate the mail piece to feed long-edge first and approximately double the production throughput. Throughput of 6x9-inch postcards exceeds 25,000 per hour. Immediate curing of the ink allows full production speeds without the need to slow down for drying. www.MyPrintResource.com/10006611 Satori Capture Software Satori Capture point-of-entry validation software ensures each contact record entered is correct from the start. It offers instant accuracy and efficiency for data entry operations. As each character is typed, Satori Capture provides users with only valid address options in real- time, meaning fewer keystrokes are needed to pinpoint a specific address. Satori Capture can be configured to validate contact data using the Satori Cloud service or a self-hosted installation of the Capture server. Both options use a secure connection to validate addresses in real-time. Order entry, lead registration, customer inquiries, and billing operations all operate more efficiently with accurate contact information. Real-time contact data valida- tion leads to improved overall database accuracy. www.MyPrintResource.com/10007836 www.MyPrintResource.com MGX MAX Impact Stock Masterpiece Graphix (MGX) has partnered with Convertible Solutions to produce a line of preconverted digital-ready specialty substrates, which includes Masterpiece Graphix MAX Impact Stocks, which allow digital printers to create high-quality double-thick cardstock prod- ucts up to 36 mils thick on digital presses. Each sheet is 12, 15, or 18 mils thick, with a specialized no tack adhesive on the back of the sheet and a score down the center. Both sides of your design are printed on the front of the sheet. When folded at the score with a typical bindery folder, the front and back lock together when cut on a guillotine cutter to create an impressive 24, 30, or 36 mil card. After printing, the sheets can be UV coated or laminated. MAX Impact Stock face material is HP Indigo- certified. Options are also available for digital roll-fed presses. www.MyPrintResource.com/10140165 Cygnus Graphics Media | BIG BOOK WINTER 2011 B9
