Preprinted on an Océ ColorStream 3900 inkjet printing sys-
tem with pigment inks, the colorful little book boasted large
swatches of color and screen tints, something people haven't
traditionally expected from inkjet. At the front end, production
of the book was managed by Océ PRISMAproduction software,
a centralized management tool designed to automate and ef-
ficiently process the application to maximize the productivity of
the ColorStream 3900.

a self-published children's book by a budding
author. "Wacky Waddles" became the talk of
the show, as attendees were stunned that such a color-
ful, high-quality book was an inkjet production.
