We are looking forward to 2015 because our install base is still ramping up, and this is an exciting time. Our vision indicates significant market potential into next year, and subsequent years to follow. Shafer: By moving the shorter run products off of legacy offset equipment you now can make those same jobs more profitable and also make your operation more efficient by being able to produce certain products in one run with color po- tential on every page that previously took multiple passes to complete. Also with the same ability to print short runs profitable, new titles can be ran that were previously resisted because it was not efficient to run on offset. New niche type sections with personalized content also can open the door for local advertisers that declined before because it did not make sense to advertise in areas that you were not going to get clientele. Williams: As the inks are improved and press speeds are inkjet printing gets closer electronic collation, just-in-time manu- facturing, workflow automation, and of course very high speeds and productivity. As we have seen in 2014, speed, improved affordability, and quality mean that inkjet can deliver on unique value propositions for critical applications. All of this brings about a new value proposition because today's high-speed, continuous- feed inkjet systems enable true business model transformation in terms of customer operations, targeting & personalization, and profitability in addition to very compelling cost-per-page metrics. These factors have huge business implications beyond the typical cost cross- over curves. Sanker: Output coming from these de- vices is mostly new work and a combina- tion of conventional applications that are being modified and improved as a result of developments due to the technology. We see this in in terms of transpromo, statement processing, books, book com- ponents, custom marketing material, and database printing of new applications that were otherwise not possible.
