The great advances in tradeshows, digital products, databases, and improved designs of our magazines all contributed to reaching our ultimate goal of realizing signifcant value to our owners." Further, we're pleased to continue primary operations of Cygnus Business Media in Fort Atkinson, WI, making the transition in ownership seamless to our audience and advertisers." QP publisher Kelley Holmes added, "We are excited to move into 2015 under the new corporate ownership of SouthComm and will continue to do business under the Cygnus brand. Our clients, subscribers, and partners can continue to expect the same level of service from MyPRIN- TResource.com, Quick Printing, Printing News, Inkjet's Age, and the Wide-Format Imaging brands. The future is very bright and we look forward to strengthening our brands even further in the commercial, sign, and digital printing markets." As part of the transition to SouthComm, the Melville, NY, offce has been closed. "We were saddened to part ways with Suzette Schear, our media services representative," said Holmes. "Connie Wolf has taken over this responsibil- ity and is located in our Fort Atkinson offce. We welcome Connie to the printing industry, but she is not new to Cyg- nus and has 19 years' experience with the company." MyPRINTResource.com/12032185 News of the Printing Industry at a Glance Prestigious Pantone Certifcation Think Patented, one of Ohio's leading commercial printers and a Marketing Execution Company, is one of fewer than a dozen printers in the world to have been certifed by the Pantone for having met its rigorous criteria for consistently superior color output. The certifcation requirements cover every aspect of a printer's color process, from ink storage and management, to prepress protocols, to pressroom best practices. The ob- vious beneft to customers is unmatched color fdelity and consistency across virtually every printed piece. "Pantone is the gold standard for corporate color standards and color measuring equipment," said manag- ing partner Niels Winther, who formerly was a longtime executive with Heidelberg North America. "Combining the Pantone certifcation with our everyday quality control processes—like the in-press control on our Heidelberg XL106 that inspects every fourth sheet—gives our clients unparalleled quality assurance and peace of mind when it comes to their printed materials and brand standards." Think Patented is also one of only eleven exclusive com- panies to be certifed as both a G7 Master printer and G7 Process Control Master.
