The five-color, 36-inch, fully auto- mated sheetfed press is the first North American installation fea- turing LED-UV curing incorporated by the manufacturer. Ryobi and Panasonic jointly developed the new technology. "To say this press delivers us a new competitive advantage is really an understatement," explained Imprimerie Reflet co-own- er Pierre Methot, who founded the 20-employee shop in 1995 with Real Daviau. The project has begun at both plants, with planning to ensure daily production will not be interrupted.
