Similar to the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5255/ C5250, the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5240A/C5235A devices now include a single-pass duplexing document feeder that scans two sides of an original in a single pass. These devices are equipped to scan at a rate of up to 120 impres- sions per minute (ipm). Increased scanning speeds improve the productivity of these devices and cre- ate greater consistency across the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5200 series. The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5240A model also delivers printing speeds of up to 40 pages-per-minute (ppm) in black-and-white and up to 35 ppm in color, while the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5235A device produces up to 35 ppm in black-and-white and up to 30 ppm in color— making these printers ideal for office environ- ments with high scanning and printing volumes. The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5240A and C5235A models are now available through Canon authorized dealers at manufacturer's suggested retail prices of $13,020 and $11,970, respectively. MyPRINTResource.com/10006967 YUPOBlue xpedx has introduced YUPOBlue, a premier synthetic paper optimized specifically for HP Indigo presses, carries a three-star certification rat- ing from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). It is produced in 5.9, 8, 9.9, 11.6 and 13.8 mil thicknesses. Unlike other synthetic substrates for HP Indigo presses, YUPOBlue does not require surface treatment prior to printing, saving both time and money. Its soft, tactile quality has the look and feel of a luxurious silk paper. Among synthetics, YUPOBlue offers superior dimensional stability and is 100 percent recyclable, waterproof, and tear and stain resistant. MyPRINTResource.com/10113742 Pressero with M-Power Aleyant Systems has completed integration with Australia-based M-Power Software, a fully featured Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program that handles all business activities for manufacturers of all types, from the first cli- ent contact through to invoicing. While many specialized software solutions allow one-way integration, the two-way inte- gration that Pressero has achieved allows end users to enjoy the best features of two systems without compromise. This is especially impor- tant in the area of pricing and quoting. For many manufacturing operations, both within and outside of the printing industry, pricing and quoting processes can be quite complex and prone to error, especially when multiple systems are involved. With this Pressero integration, it is faster for companies to keep prod- ucts and pricing in sync and to add new products to the system. Pressero from Aleyant Systems is an affordable and easy-to-use cloud-based B2B and B2C online storefront solution that can quickly and easily be custom- ized to individual client needs. Because it is delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS), it has a pay-as-you-go model that involves limited up-front costs. Pressero includes eDocBuilder, a web-based variable data publishing system built specifically to easily integrate into Aleyant or third-party web-to-print or MIS solutions. It features advanced typography control, imposition, scripting support, PDF workflows, rapid template creation, Excel merge capabilities and more. Aleyant's Automated Workflow Integrator (AWI) makes online opera- tions as streamlined and affordable as possible, and AWI is a critical enabler for achieving this goal. Examples of applications for AWI's rules-based approach include automating processes for file renaming for workflows that have strict file naming conventions, automatically unzipping zipped files, or sending files and metadata directly to a RIP for processing, eliminating multiple steps in the workflow.
